Doc check-up

Ellie had her doctor check-up the other day and they said she is doing great!!! We really hadn't talked much about what the visit consisted of but the nurse did as soon as she walked in the door. When she mentioned shots Ellie's eyes got really big and when she said six different ones my eyes even got bigger. I knew she had to get shots but never thought there would be six. If I would have know that I think I would have put it off a little longer. When the doc came in and left Ellie asked me, "Mom what's next?" I just smiled at her and she said, "Come on mom lets just hurry and get out of here!" I thought that was really cute. The nurse came in and set all six shots out on the counter and it took all I had not to cry with her. The nurse was really quick and Ellie did great. I thought by telling her these were her pre-school shots she would be a little better about it but she didn't care. Now that we have that all over with she will not have to have a shot until she is 11!!!
