"Fair Time"

We always love this time of year but for some reason I am dreading this one. Maybe it's because this cute little bug starts school this year and I am trying to slow the time down. It just seems like the days are flying by.

On Tuesday the kids had a ball at the Tiny Tot Rodeo. Ellie has been several years but this was Braxtons first!! Braxton thought he was hot stuff with his new boots and Ellie thought she was the "winner" of everything. Braxton just had a smile the whole time and tried his hardest in all of his events. Ellie kept asking when she was going to get the big trophy but when she found out she needed to ride a sheep she didn't think the trophy was that cool anymore. She did take first in the stick horse barrels and her grand prize was $18.00 I thought that was pretty cool but she thought she should of won something bigger and better. This year their cousins joined them and it just made it that much FUNNER!!!!!

Hallee and Kelton did an AWESOME job showing their Steers. Kelton took 7 over all and Hallee took 4 in her class. Ellie and Braxton have decided that they are just going to take RABBITS to the fair when they get big enough. I sure hope I can talk them into taking something worth a little more money than Rabbits.
