Well Ellie has been looking forward to turning 5 for a long time! I on the other hand have been dreading the day!! I don't know why but I am having a hard time with her turning 5. I am not ready for her to start school, it seems like she should still be wearing diapers and crawling. Oh how the time has flown by. Just the thought of her not being with me 24-7 has been bugging me. I know she will be fine and she is SO READY to start school!! Ellie assures me that I will be just fine cause I still have Braxton!! She has sure grown up these last few months. The things she comes up with and the things she saws just blows us away.
We celebrated her B-day on Saturday and invited some of her friends over for a water day. It was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect. It was a fun day but very busy!! We had some family and friends over and than later that night our little family went to Cars 2 and than finished the night with fire works at the Bowens. I told Ellie not to expect such a show every year for her birthday. (Thanks Casie, James, Melanie and Kerrie for such a show!)
