LOVE YOU BUNCHES

This is one of our favorite saying at our house. Ellie loves it when I do something special for breakfast. So this morning I thought I would show them how much I love them by making them heart french toast.

Hometown Spirit

I loved growing up in the small town of Malta and love all the people there. I know I only live just 25 min away now, but I still love the little town. This last weekend was homecoming so I thought I would enter Ellie up in the parade to show a little spirit. My sister T seems to always get too much on her plate this time of year and has a hard time saying no. When I talked to her the other night she was beside herself and wasn't sure how she was going to get everything done that she needed to. So Mandi and I thought we would help her out by decorating her float. We had so much fun!! We stayed up until 1 and did a lot of giggling. The float ended up taking 3rd place, way to go boys!!! My favorite thing about the float was the ref Maddie what a great idea Mandi.
Ellie, Haven, Zan and her friends had fun riding through the parade with their jeeps and 4wheeler while sporting their Fancy tutu's. What a fun day!!

Baby Pete's 1st B-day

I can't believe he is 1 already, where does the time go? We had so much fun helping Braxton celebrate his big day. We invited family and friends over for a BBQ and we had lots of food. By the time the party was over Braxton was ready for his PJ's and a warm bed. Braxton is so much fun and he has the funniest little attitude. Just in the past week he has grown so much. He is wanting to walk so bad but hasn't figured it all out yet. He gets where he wants to pretty fast and has fun following Ellie around to see what she is up to. He loves to wrestle Ellie and usually wins because all Ellie can do it laugh.

HE IS SUCH A HAPPY BOY AND WE LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!

I've decided it's easier to buy a cake than to make one.

Braxton loves his picture taken

Best Dad AWARD

Last Saturday we decided we would go on a little family outing and take the kids fishing. We invited our great friends Casie and Mellisa to join in on the family fun. Tony had gone the night before and knew a great spot where the fish were thick. When we first got there Tony casted his and Ellie's Barbie pole out and I went back up to the truck for another load of stuff. When I got back Ellie was so excited and was yelling, "my pole is gone" I didn't really understand what she was saying until I noticed there was only one pole on the bay and it was Tony's. Ellie was watching her pole and when she noticed it was moving she yelled for Tony's help. When Tony got to the pole it fell in the water and while taking his socks and shoes off the pole took off. Ellie was not sad her pole was gone she was just so excited that the fish took it. Tony having eyes like a hawk thought he could see the pole. The thoughts of Tony swimming for it grossed me out and I tried convincing him we would just buy her a new pole, that didn't work. The thoughts of the fish still on the end keep Tony motivated to go in for the pole. While the rest of us could not see the pole Tony was convinced he could see it so bless his heart he went in and under and came up with the pole. I just sat in awe, what dad would go in for their daughters Barbie pole. Tony is a great dad and when it comes to Ellie she is wrapped around his finger pretty tight!!! After retrieving the pole she caught 5 fish and by the end of night she was thinking she was pretty cool. Melissa was sitting right by us and not once did she get a bite. Ellie keep asking her if she wanted to borrow her pole. It was a fun night but I was excited when we headed home because Tony was starting to smell pretty rotten!!
