what a GREAT EASTER!!!
When it comes to holidays there is nothing better than hanging out with FAMILY!!! I just can't get enough of it. Saturday morning I had to run Brax into the evening med. clinic so Ellie got to go to the Easter egg hunt with my family, (thanks so much for meeting me and making sure she had a great time.) Brax has ear infections and is border line with RSV again, this is the third time so back on steroids and amoxicillin and another trip to the Dr. tomorrow for a re-check. There is nothing worse than a sick baby and in our case it's all the time poor little feller!!!
Ellie was so funny this morning!! When I went to wake her up I told her "the Easter bunny stopped by and left her something" she hurried and ran out into the living room and she looked a little lost and she said "mom the Easter bunny came but where did he go I think we lost him!" Tony and I just laughed!
When we went to church today Ellie made a cut picture in class and she had me in tears when she explained to me what it meant. Such a little girl with a HUGE spirit, she just blows me away. She had such a great story to tell me but of course I could only get bits and pieces but I could tell that she had learned the TRUE meaning of EASTER. When she had finished telling me the story she gave me a big hug and told me how much she loved me. She has taught me so much in this last year she makes sure every night that we say our prayers before bed and she is always wanting to go to church. Every time we pass the Temple in Twin or on our way to my sisters in Utah she always tells me how beautiful they are, I just can't believe how such a small girl at such a small age understands it all. WHAT A CHILD OF CHILD!!
Anyways after church we spent the day at the Erickson's residence feeding our faces (what I do best!!!) Tony made his famous dutch oven potatoes and ribs ( thanks honey they were great) Ellie spent most of the day hanging outside with the boys she blew bottles of bubbles and drew all over grandpa's shop floor with chalk!! Than grandma Erickson hid Easter eggs for Ellie, she was the only child so she made a haul on candy. So as you can tell we had a great Easter weekend!!!
