8 lb 14 oz of solid handsome

Sorry it's taken me so long to post pictures of the new addition to our family. I totally forgot how busy life gets with a new born, it has been a total adjustment for us. I wouldn't trade it for the world but staying up all night and getting a few cat naps here and there just isn't what I would call fun. I will admit I love my sleep!!!
Delivery went well! They started me at 6 a.m. on the 23 and Braxston Scott was born at 1:53 p.m. We were able to come home on Wednesday but before leaving they infomred us that his bili was high and that we would need to take home a bili light. Dr. asked us to take him back in the next morning to have it checked again and it had jumped from 12.3 to 19.7 which they call 20-25 the danger zone. The Dr. said that we needed to admit him back in or if it got any higher they would have to life flight him and transport blood I told him the Hospital sounded great. Of course I cried my eyes out along with Ellie because she didn't want to leave her new little brother and her mom. She had fallen in love with Braxton and she didn't want to leave him there which was also very hard on me. We had to stay 2 days in the hospital and was able to come home on Saturday. Being in the hospital was so hard becasue he had to stay under the light naked and the only time they recommended us to hold him was to eat. I just wanted to hold and love my little boy but I knew it was best but was still way hard. I did have alot of help my wonderful husband stayed by my side the whole time and he was the shoulder when I needed one to cry on. He has been such great help and I want him to know how much I love him and appreciate all the help!! He is a GREAT dad!!!!
